The Sales Rep position is responsible for generating revenue by selling and servicing accounts via phone and/or internet. Sell products and/or services. Duties include inbound and/or outbound telesales activities for new or existing/renewing accounts. May
be assigned to respond to email inquiries and orders may also generate leads for sales team.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Education and Experience
- Follows up on sales leads
- Cold calling customers
- Builds customer relationships
- Looks for new potential sales opportunities/customers
- Answers incoming calls on order line
- Qualifies leads for other areas of sales team
- Answers phones, emails, faxes or other customer and sales communications
- Handles mostly small independent accounts
- Adopts company policies and processes
Knowledge & Skills
- High school Diploma or GED required
- One year of relevant experience or equivalent education
- AA degree preferred, but not required
